💐 Spring has sprung

After a busy start to the year and the launch of my new wall paper collection I decided to press the pause button and headed to Cape Town, South Africa for a late winter break.

This was just what I needed, I'm South African by birth and the beautiful Western Cape is perfect for an escape from everything. We did not make many plans and took each day as it came.

We wandered around, met up with friends and drove on the coastal road all the way down to Cape Point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.

We're back and I'm ready for a busy program! At the moment I am beavering away in my studio working on new quilt fabric designs for Freespirit Fabrics as well as a collection of floral and still life paintings for exhibitions and my annual open studio event that will happen in the coming months.

One highlight in April I am really looking forward to is the art retreat in Italy. I will be teaching at Hotel Leone in the beautiful Le Marche area.

Time for a Spring refresh?

As mentioned before, my new wallpaper collection is available in the UK on rolls.

To see them up close and to get familiar with the design’s scale and the paper used, you can now order samples of any of the twenty six designs in the collection.

All samples are in stock and ready for immediate shipping. The rolls of wallpaper are 70cm (28”) wide and 10 metres (11 yards) long and take up to three weeks to ship once ordered.

New Limited Edition Prints added

There were some requests for specific artworks to be available as prints so we've added nine new ones to my collection.

Here's some of them. Use HAPPYDAY10 for a 10% discount on the print collection as well as silk scarves.

Even though there have been increases in courier costs recently SHIPPING remains FREE on all print orders over £100. I use FedEx for the States, and either FedEx or Royal Mail tracked for other destinations.

A special collaborative event coming up

Once in a while I join in with other artists in a collaborative event, and next month I will once again be part of Sketchbook Revival. I've recorded two fun lessons for this event, and a bonus demo all about my Five Favourite Mark Making Tools. I will tell you about this in the next newsletter.
