Are you in need of a creative escape?

The first five months of 2026 were busy with many exciting projects including exhibitions and art fairs, new design collaborations and teaching on a retreat in the beautiful Le Marche region in Italy.

After the Colori Flori Summit, I decided to take a proper break myself and we booked a place in the Dordogne countryside for June.

Last September we discovered this region of south west France last September when I came here to teach on an art retreat hosted by Perigord Retreats. We visited so many fabulous places on daily outings, from prehistoric caves to medieval cities, troglodyte villages and beautiful castles that I wanted to return again and take more time to explore the area further.

The Perigord Noir region is a wonderful rural and historic area to explore. We are here with our two Lagotti dogs, who love daily swims in the rivers we pass on our walks.

On this trip I'm also indulging in playing and experimenting with different art materials brought along as I am working on new online art courses, more about this in due course. Over these weeks I am also working on a new collection of paintings for upcoming shows including the Affordable Art Fairs in New York and Battersea, London where galleries will be represent me.

One space remaining! Join us for a once in a lifetime retreat

Making space to find inspiration in beautiful surroundings and creating space for making art is a wonderful indulgence. Spending time doing this with a fabulous bunch of creatives is an invigorating experience unlike any other.

Towards the end of October I will be in India, teaching the art program on a ten day retreat in the Rajasthan region, known for artisan block printing, indigo and fabulous textiles. This will be the thirteenth retreat I am teaching on and I am very excited at the prospect of what this trip will hold. See the itinerary in the link below

We’ll be in very capable hands, this event is organised by the very experienced Creative Arts Safaris group who specialise in organising retreats off the beaten track.

For the Print and Pattern retreat we will take inspiration from this unique and rich source of creativity and colour! The art program has been curated to fit beautifully around our travels to wonderful destinations including Jaipur, Pushkar and the Taj Mahal.

One room has become available on this retreat, here’s your chance to join us on this creative escape! Grab a friend to share with, or come along on your own. The group of eleven who are coming on the retreat are a fun bunch of women from all over the world, a number of them have joined me already on to two or three retreats in the past!

Marvellous Marrakech

The September 2026 retreat here in the Dordogne was such an uplifting experience, it was made possible by the awesome team who put it all together so expertly.

Harrison and Katel Turner created a wonderful event for us here in France, so I am thrilled to be joining them for a retreat in Marrakech next February/March. This event will focus around the colour, culture and creativity of this unique and vibrant ancient city and surrounding areas.

This retreat is a perfect late winter escape for those in the Northern hemisphere, a delicious treat in an unforgettable place.

Places are going fast, there are four spaces available, have a look below at what we have planned for you.
