See my new fabric collection… COLORI

Colour is my jam, it is a bountiful source of inspiration and catalyst for creativity.

Would you like to have a look at my brand new 2026 quilt fabric collection designed for FreeSpirit Fabrics? It is called it Colori. Bold and bright, organic and geometric shapes combined with botanical and floral shapes and layered to create joyful and uplifting designs. Fish and birds make their appearance in some of the designs as well!

Wholesale orders are open now with shipping in January 2026.

It all starts with a colourful brush stroke

Every design of mine that's turned into textiles, wallpaper and other applications starts off as an actual tactile painting where a variety of materials are used on paper and canvas.

Working digitally doesn’t really suit my way of creating, I prefer to get my fingers dirty and I thrive on what if’s and happy accidents. Paintings evolve over time as layers are added in different media including watercolour, acrylic, collage and a variety of drawing materials.

Printing and stamping techniques are often incorporated and that is in fact how some of the designs in this new quilt collection started out.

Printmaking was part of my original training as a textile designer and fine artist, silk screen printing in particular was the technology used as standard for fabric printing before it all changed in the digital age.

You can see below the evolution of some of the designs before they were scanned and turned into repeat patterns digitally.

The Collection

The Colori collection includes fourteen happy designs that will be available in stores early 2026. If you are a quilter or like sewing, remind your fabric reseller to place an order soon.

2025 Retreats: from Portugal onto Perigord

The July retreat in Portugal was such a lovely event with a great group of people, I'm now looking forward to September when I’ll be in south west France for a retreat in the beautiful Perigord region known for its medieval castles and quant villages set in beautiful landscapes, prehistoric caves and outstanding cuisine .... and truffles.

On this retreat there will be a focus on using mixed media for lots of experimenting and exploring of possibilities with a wide variety of creative processes including printing, sun printing, collage and even textiles.

Come and join us, there’s room for one more!

If you would like to escape the real world for a while come and join a tribe of creative kindred spirits!

A cancellation has opened up one spot perfect for an art filled break.

2026 Retreat Plans: ltaly and India

The art retreat in Le Marche, Italy next April is now fully booked and I am super excited to announce that I will be teaching on a retreat in India in October 2026 - more information to follow soon.

Closer to home...

My plan was to keep retreats to one or two per year, but because I received a number of requests from retreat attendees and students I'm looking at an option to offer a workshop event in June 2026, closer to home, here in England. This will be in Henley-on-Thames, a lovely little town with easy train links to London and not far from Heathrow.

Stay in the loop.. Join the priority list here if you’d like to hear first about in-person events.

Changes are coming!

At this time of uncertainty with the end of the US duty-free de minimis treatment for small imports on 29 August, I may have to temporarily close my online shop.

Please place any print orders as soon as possible so that they can be sent by FedEx International Express on 25 August. Use code AUGUST20 for a 20% discount on prints.
